Since its launch, Ethiopia\u2019s forest cover has steadily increased, reversing previous declines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>State Minister Mr. Kebede Desisa highlighted the country\u2019s major environmental challenges, including deforestation, soil degradation, and drought. He noted that the Green Legacy Initiative has made significant progress in addressing these issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FDRE Palace Administration Director General, Mr. Meteku Deressa, added that the program enhances climate resilience and fosters a greener Ethiopia.
