He highlighted that Ethiopia\u2019s current leadership is the first to formally integrate concepts such as national reconciliation and political dialogue into the country\u2019s governance structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPeace built on negotiation and mutual understanding is solid,\u201d he stated, contrasting it with the destructive cycle of conflict. The discussion also covered critical issues like the situation of internally displaced persons and the socio-economic challenges faced by Tigray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tigrayan community leaders called on the government to enhance public engagement and expand dialogue platforms to dispel harmful misconceptions and divisive language that could threaten reconciliation efforts or reignite tensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A shared resolve emerged to support Tigray\u2019s recovery and reintegration. Both government officials and community leaders agreed on the importance of enabling Tigrayan citizens and intellectuals to actively participate in Ethiopia\u2019s political and economic life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
