Participants highlighted the critical role of security forces in combating crimes such as banditry, theft, smuggling, corruption, and human and financial trafficking.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Prime Minister underscored the importance of protecting the free movement of people and goods, viewing it as vital for economic progress, and called for systematic legal measures to safeguard these freedoms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting also stressed the need for close cooperation between security agencies and local communities in defending key infrastructure, mining operations, industries, and public services. Citizens\u2019 increasing commitment to peace\u2014through cultural, spiritual, and logistical support\u2014was praised, with recommendations to enhance this engagement through additional training.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cybersecurity emerged as a significant concern, prompting the Prime Minister to urge increased monitoring of terrorist activities on social media and to direct agencies to strengthen technological defenses and pursue justice for cybercriminals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ethiopia\u2019s security institutions are evolving into modern, constitutionally grounded organizations capable of defending national sovereignty amid changing geopolitical landscapes.
