People who were visiting the building of St. Mary&#8217;s church which is under construction in Amhara region North Shewa zone Arreti city administration have been injured by an accident. The government expresses its sorrow that there are many people who lost their lives and suffered minor injuries. We wish condolences to the families of the victims and quick recovery to those who are on treatment. Ethiopia is in the process of holistic construction. Construction starting from big dams to small private houses fences, safety should be given priority when being built. Our construction laws have put the same in mind. Putting people&#8217;s safety first in all construction sites should be given attention. Visits to construction sites should also ensure that they follow safety principles at work. It&#8217;s gonna be worth it. The government expresses its deep condolences for the damage caused by the collapse of the climbing.
