Ethiopia Co-Hosts Humanitarian Conference for Sudan people

Addis Ababa, 7 February 2017

The Ethiopian Government in collaboration with the UAE, the African Union, and IGAD, co-hosted the High-Level Humanitarian Conference for Sudan people today.

Demonstrating solidarity with its neighbor, Ethiopia expressed its commitment to supporting the Sudanese people amid ongoing challenges.

The two nations share a multifaceted relationship, forged through generations of common struggles, aspirations, and cultural connections, highlighting the importance of regional cooperation in addressing humanitarian needs.

Ethiopia has provided $15 million in humanitarian aid to assist the Sudanese people until today.
