Planning Ethiopians; Applying “We have demonstrated through the Green Footprint program that we can not only work hard but continue what we have started,” said State Minister of State for Communication Services, Eta Sefuhit Kasa.
Minister of State has made a statement from the situation monitoring center in Addis Ababa regarding the start of the program of planting 500 million saplings overnight.
He said today, July 10, 2015, is a historic day for Ethiopians to improve their record. Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed’s call to break our own record yesterday has started to be implemented across the country from 12 o’clock in the morning today, Minister D’Etawa said.
Minister D’Etawa called on all Ethiopians to go to the more than 9,000 nursery planting stations specially prepared for today and plant seedlings to make history for generations to come.
