“Ethiopia’s macroeconomic reform program is a spotlight for African Prosperity”

In her final remark today, Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), hailed Ethiopia’s homegrown macroeconomic reform program as a significant catalyst for prosperity across Africa.
The Managing Director, Kristalina Georgieva and Ethiopian Finance Minister Mr. Ahmed Shide held a media briefing to explain the institution’s financial and economic assistance provided to Ethiopia.
The Director emphasized that the program exemplifies Ethiopia’s commitment to sustainable economic growth and stability, positioning it as a model for other nations on the continent.
The initiative, focusing on enhancing fiscal policies and addressing structural economic challenges, aims to stimulate investment and improve living standards for all Ethiopian people.
