Government Communication Service and CNRTA Forge Collaboration in Media Content and Technology Advancements

The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia’s Government Communication Service (GCS) and the China National Radio and Television Administration (CNRTA) have initiated discussions on a collaborative project aimed at media content production, technological expansion, and capacity building in the media sector.
A delegation led by CNRTA Director General CAO Shumin engaged in talks in Addis Ababa with Minister of Government Communication Service, Dr. Legesse Tulu, and State Minister Tesfahun Gobezay. The discussions resulted in a framework for joint initiatives designed to enhance content creation capabilities and leverage technological advancements within the media and communication landscape.
This partnership is anticipated to promote knowledge sharing and skill development, strengthen media infrastructure, and foster innovative approaches to content delivery. While specific project details are still being finalized, the agreement underscores both organizations’ commitment to adapting to changing media consumption patterns and improving operational efficiencies, particularly in digital media and content creativity within the global context.
