Ethiopia has been, and remains, a steadfast voice in Africaโs continental journey, from the OAU to the African Union, with Addis Ababa serving as the home of our continental Union. As we mark this day, we reaffirm the vision of an integrated and prosperous Africa, while looking ahead to the next frontier of our collective progress.
In this spirit, and in my capacity as the African Unionโs Champion for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health, I call on Africaโs leaders and youth to embrace technological sovereignty and shape our digital future on our own terms.
Ethiopia stands ready to build that future alongside our fellow Africans.
