Strategic foreign exchange allocation and targeted subsidy reforms prioritized essential commodities despite limited resources, shielding the economy from severe disruption. At the same time, Ethiopia’s rapid transition toward electric vehicle has begun to break oil dependence, mitigating macroeconomic pressures.
