“በባህር ዳር ከተማ በነበረን ጉብኝት የባህር ዳር ዓለም አቀፍ ስታዲየምን እንዲሁም ከተማዋን ለቱሪዝም ዘርፍ ምቹ ለማድረግ እየተከናወኑ ያሉ ስራዎችን ተመልክተናል።”

“በባህር ዳር ከተማ በነበረን ጉብኝት የባህር ዳር ዓለም አቀፍ ስታዲየምን እንዲሁም ከተማዋን ለቱሪዝም ዘርፍ ምቹ ለማድረግ እየተከናወኑ ያሉ ስራዎችን ተመልክተናል።

የባህር ዳር ዓለም አቀፍ ስታዲየም የአፍሪካ እግር ኳስ ፌዴሬሽን (ካፍ) ባስቀመጠው ስታንዳርድ መሰረት ደረጃውን የማሻሻል ስራዎች በትኩረት እየተከናወኑ ነው። ስታዲየሙ 52 ሺህ ተመልካቾችን መያዝ የሚችል ሲሆን የወንበር መግጠምና የሳር ንጣፍ ስራዎች ተጠናቀዋል። የመብራት ዝርጋታን ጨምሮ ሌሎች የስታዲየም ውስጥ መሰረተ ልማቶችም በፍጥነት እየተከናወኑ ይገኛሉ።

ከዚህ በተጨማሪ የጎርጎራ ኢኮ ሪዞርትን መሠረት በማድረግ በባህር ዳር ጣና ሀይቅ ዳርቻ እየተገነባ ያለው ፈለገ ጊዮን ሪዞርትን የተመለከትን ሲሆን ሪዞርቱ ወደ ስራ ሲገባ የከተማዋን ተሪዝም ከማነቃቃት ባሻገር ለበርካታ ወጣቶች የስራ እድል የሚፈጥር ይሆናል።

በሌላ በኩል የኢትዮጵያ ባህር ትራንስፖርትና ሎጂስቲክስ በባህር ዳር እያስገነባ ያለው የኢትዮ-ፌሪስ ቅርንጫፍ መስሪያ ቤት በጣና ሃይቅ ዳርቻ እየተከናወኑ ካሉ ሌሎች የልማት ስራዎች ጋር ተደምሮ ባህር ዳርን ወደ አዲስ የከተሜነት ምዕራፍ ለመሸጋገር ትልቅ ሚና ያበረክታል።

During our visit to Bahir Dar city, we observed the Bahir Dar International Stadium as well as various ongoing projects aimed at making the city more suitable for tourism development.

The Bahir Dar International Stadium is undergoing significant upgrades to meet the standards set by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The stadium, which will have a capacity of 52,000 spectators, has completed its seating installation and turf works. In addition, essential infrastructure inside the stadium — including the lighting system — is being rapidly developed.

Furthermore, we visited the Fellege Ghion Resort, which is being constructed on the shore of Bahir Dar city based on the model of the Gorgora Eco Resort. Once completed, this resort is expected not only to boost the city’s tourism sector but also to create numerous employment opportunities for young people.

On another front, the Ethiopian Maritime Transport and Logistics Company is constructing the Ethio-Ferries branch office in Bahir Dar, along the shore of Lake Tana. This project, along with other ongoing development works, will play a major role in ushering Bahir Dar into a new chapter of urban growth and modernization.”
