ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ (ዶ/ር) መልዕክት
“ዛሬ በምስራቅ ሸዋ ዞን የነበረን ጉብኝት በክረምት የስንዴ ምርት ሥራዎች የተገኘውን ውጤት የምርት አሰባሰቡን በመመልከት ለመገምገም እና የበጋ ስንዴ ሥራ ማስጀመር ላይ ያተኮረ ነበር። በዚያው አካባቢ የሙዝ፣ ፓፓያ እና አሳ ክለስተር ሥራዎችንም ተመልክተናል። ነባሩ ባሕላዊ የግብርና ዘዴ አሁንም ያለ ቢሆንም በሰፊው ለማረስ የሚያስችለው ሜካናይዜሽን እያደገ በመሄዱ የአካባቢውን የግብርና ብቁነት እና ምርታማነት እያሳደገ ይገኛል።
ወደኋላ መለስ ብለን የነበረውን አሰራር ስንገመግም እነዚህን መሰል ዘመናዊ ዘዴዎችን ከብዙ አመታት በፊት እንደ ሀገር ጀምረን ቢሆን ኖሮ የግብርና ምርታችን በከፍተኛ ደረጃ የተለየ ይሆን እንደነበር እንረዳለን። ዛሬ ከአመት ወደ አመት እየጨመረ የሚሄድ ምርታማነት እየተመለከትን እንገኛለን። ለማደግ ምንም አይነት የውጭ ድጋፍ አይመጣም። እውነተኛውን የሀገራችን ለውጥ የሚመራው” የራሳችን ጽናት፣ ፈጠራ እና የሥራ ትጋት ነው።
Our visit today to Misrak Shewa zone focused on reviewing the rainy season wheat harvest and launching the summer wheat production activities. In the same area, we also assessed the progress of the banana, papaya, and fish clusters. Although traditional farming methods still exist, the growing adoption of mechanization in the area is significantly enhancing agricultural efficiency and productivity.
Reflecting on the past, had we embraced such modern approaches many years ago, our agricultural output would have been vastly different. Today, we are already witnessing remarkable year-to-year improvements in productivity. Ultimately, no external help is coming. It is our own dedication, innovation, and hard work that will drive the true transformation of our nation.
